Holograms or Avatars in Metaverse

Avatars or holograms will be central elements in the Metaverse.                     

Borrowed from the Hindi Dev-mala, an Avatar is essentially a representation of your personality in a virtual or computer-mediated space. It can be a conceptual shape or your own 3D image. In simple terms, understand that the way you appear to others in the virtual world or Metaverse, will be your Avatar in that world. We can also say that your personality and identity in the Metaverse will be expressed through your Avatar.

A person can create or use different Avatars for different purposes. For example, separate Avatars for gaming, Avatars for professional or business activities and different Avatars for social interactions, which may be separate for family and other interactions.

By using Avatars, users will be able to create and maintain their presence in the Metaverse through social network profiles. Avatars can perform intellectual and practical tasks in interconnected spaces and in a science-controlled but broadly immersive space. All this is still in its infancy. As time goes on, more and more people and their Avatars will become part of the Metaverse, opening new experiences and possibilities that we haven’t even thought of yet.
