There are following seven (07) colors in sunlight:
- Red
- Orange
- Yellow
- Green
- Blue
- Indigo
- Violet
Some droplets of water are suspended in the air after rain. When light of the Sun passes through water droplets, it gets divided into seven (07) colors. This is what we called as rainbow.
Violet color has Shortest wavelength, about 380 nm, and red color has Longest wavelength, about 700 nm.
